I did, and I noticed a difference, sorta... of course, I put it in when I put in the built 302, so I couldnt honestly tell ya. I do know they help, its less rotating mass. 1 lb of rotating mass is equivalent to 10 lbs in the car.

I am doing a Alum driveshaft from FRPP in the next couple weeks accompanied by a Fidanza Alum Flywheel. Oh and don't forget the new motor :)

Another thing on the list for me.... What U Joints did you go with Duff? I've heard that Timken @ AutoZone is just as good as anything out there.

It definitely helped my car after I threw it in there... Feels smoother and much less vibration. Plus anything thats lighter/stronger than stock is good :)

The alumnium ds is also a bigger diameter. Some people have problems with it rubbing on the e-brake bracket

^^ I had trouble with it clearing my driveshaft loop, not my e-brake bracket. I BARELY have any room with it between the loop and itself(roughly 1/2" on each side). It's was a noticeable difference, I changed it out because my stock one was out of balance, so I upgraded in the process. Taking off was weird for the first few times but soon got use to it.

Timken is the brand of bearings and seals that they carry. The ujoints are Duralast and the Golds, I cant remember the true brand of them but know it wasnt timken unless in the recent months they have swapped venders.

The FRPP comes with a 1330 U joint which is pretty beefy from what i have been told i am unsure who the manufacturer is though.

Temkin is the shit, they are great u-joints and any other bearing product for that matter.

aluminum fly wheels are shit, I hate them, none of my vehicles will EVER have one put on by myself. I will never use one. If your worried about rotational mass and you NEED the difference in a fly wheel, you best be making some awesome races here, there are alot of other ways to get the same benifit, personally a steel flywheel is better, takes more abuse and hell I havent had half the issues with a steel as some people have had with aluminum's

thanks for the info guys, I don't have an ebrake so it's got nothing to rub on, I just replaced my u-joints today with Temkin. To be honest I think I might have an Alum. dive-shaft, this is the first time I've really picked it up and it doesn't weigh much, I'm going to find a magnet tomorrow to find out for sure.

Anyone know if you can put the AWD aerostar aluminum driveshaft in our stangs? I know it can be done to the foxes, but I've never heard of them on sn95s
