aluminum drive shaft for auto

Does any one know if I can get an aluminum driveshaft meant for a manual car and just swap over the yoke from my current driveshaft to fit an auto trans?

I've also heard the alumnium ds from and aerostar fits our cars too. but can't confirm first hand

not as we speak, but before I put my new motor back in I'm putting a 31 spline FRPP one and I have a built AODE so I did my research.

I've heard people say the Aerostar one will work but the first time I heard it was after I traded my Aerostar in for the CFC thing last summer so I never got to check it out.


I miss my poopy brown colored Aerostar

I would really like to have that one also but that is a lot of money. I wonder what the weight difference is between the axle exchange and FRPP ds is? It will just be hard for me to spend that much extra money not knowing if the axle exchange one is that much better.
