Right...... I mean I won't lie that he's got a few dollars into the ride (the tail lights being probably the biggest waste of the few dollars) however it is FAR from worth 25k. I'd find it hard to believe if someone paid even 10k for it. And honestly I don't think he included any miles on the car. I do have to wonder where people get off thinking there car is worth more than double what a normal person would pay for it lol... I don't get it. Maybe someone can enlighten us here. Special rare tail lights maybe?

Well it is worth whatever someone is willing to pay.........however I don't think it's worth more than $12K and that would be without the wheels and rear taillights.

The paint has real gold flakes in it...At least it better for 25k. He must not need it sold that bad if he is seriously listing it for that much.

Don't see it. People who want a fast car won't be interested since it has all the show stuff in it. And as a show car it's not that great. Tony's car is a good example of what a vert needs to pull off show car.

From what I see its a 98 cobra with 76k miles on it
-Built motor
-vortech setup
-4.10 gears

and a bunch of other worthless BS

"Over 18K in receipts for motor, trans work and exhaust."

Sounds like he got absolutely raped here...id imagine a built motor and vortech setup all brand new, drop it off and pick it up 100% labor included should cost about half that.

Looks like he is just a sucker in general so he is trying to pass off his sucker pricing on the second hand market...too bad it will never work.

He'd be hard pressed to get 10k for that car I bet.

overpriced... Nice car and can be saved with just a little work, but its still over priced. I'd say the only thing going for it is the built motor/blower, nice condition for the miles, and rare color, all the other doodads are very subjective and not everyone will like them...

Yea..exactly, but as a buyer id probably go buy another 96-98 cobra that I didnt have to remove a bunch of shit from and his price is still insane.

Heres an example of an awesome car. http://www.collegeparktuning.com/showthread.php?t=2475

Things a lot more built and sorted than this yellow turd with less miles and that was 3 years ago lol

I find it a lot of money for a car where the paint of the front bumper does not match the rest of the car. That tells me there's probably accident damage too...

I like how he said rear and front fascia were painted 10 years ago...like thats even worth mentioning at this point.

He could have just had them done to fix minor scratches/chips since it looks like he was into the whole show car BS...either way, he is smoking crack.

I'd rather take the 25k someone would put into that car and put it into a nice down payment on like a Shelby or something. Someone needs to tell this guy that what you put into a car you're not gonna get back out.

probably added up his receipts, added 10%, put that as the asking price.... now you can talk him down 10% and he'll break even.
