Another EGR delete post

OK so I have unhooked the EGR but Im working on deleting it. so on the EGR i saw some where that some one said they used the sensor off it to keep the CEL from coming on so my ? is is how do i do that?

as you can see I am making a plate to delete it.

SO just leave the egr there?

Yep. It doesn't hurt performance whatsoever, increases your fuel mileage, and there is basically no reason to remove it. Please do a search.

ya i just took it off tonight and made the simulator with resistors. Like in the HOW TO SECTION. and made my own delete plate.

if u put a wire tie on top of the pin and screw it down with a small hose clamp it will keep the cel off. Basically what your trying to do is keep the pin about half way down all the time.
