I have a 95 mustang and putting 4:10 gear in. Do i have to get it recalibrated? Some people were saying anything before the 96 mustangs you dont need to because its mechanical not electrical or something like that let me know thanks.

Speedcal, unless you like getting under the car a lot and changing the little plastic cog everytime it disintegrates.

I thought you couldn't recalibrate the 94-95's with a speedcal... since it was mechanical speedo gauge.

I do like getting under the car and lay there for a while once or twice a week. I get a tooth brush and start cleaning my exhaust cans.(LMAO J/K)
The plastic gear will last you for a good long time. And it is piece of cake to change it.

I have 4:10 in my car too. I loved for about a year. Now i am stepping down to 3:55. Enjoy the new gear! and totally wrong speedo readings.
