So, as my deployment comes to it's half way mark, and the winter is coming ever closer, I am making my plans for the Cobra's tear down for next years track season, with aspirations to get into some Redline Time Attack events in the street rwd class, I found myself with a dilemma...the wheels I have, leave my tire choices for this class very limited. so what shall a man do? well...I guess I should bump to a better size, get some sticky as hell street tires...and toss em on the new wheels...here's a sneak peak....18x9.5's. with some fender work and spacers they will be on the car with 285/30R18 Federal 595 rsr tires for next season!

I am too honestly. it's gonna take some spacers in the front...11mm to be exact to get them to clear the coilovers but other than that...nothing a little fender pull/roll won't fix. plus with some of the plans this winter I have for the car, lets just say spacers are the least of my worries...well not worries, things to be excited about. haha. come early next year I'm going to have a completely different car and can't wait to show you guys.

yeah don't have instagram and can't text right now do to being deployed. haha. yep that looks sick...and on a rio red car like mine too. I wonder what size his were? cuz mine are 18x9.5's and I know they are gonna be an awesome stance with it. I bought them for function when it came to the track too...and well...I've always wanted them anyways. I like keeping my Mustang different!

i love that extra ring around it! definitely gives a more unique look. :)

you guys know me...I try so hard to keep the car unique along with insanely functional! this is my favorite set of wheels...and now that I finally decided to just say f-it and get them...along with have custom spacers made to make it all fit just right...I am pumped to toss these on to finish out all the awesome plans I have for the car this winter!

well you know that the car is already set for the track but...come this winter...I am getting it all ready for the redline time attack street rwd class....so...in the coming months...around late November early December...I might be doing a thread about everything I am doing to the car....so...you can all keep track of how the car will finally turn out come next season for autocross, track days and my first redline time attack events. the new wheels and tires are just step 1 into the newest additions of insane track functionality for my baby. haha. do I street it anymore now as is? nope...will I after all this...nope. lol. so don't let the class name deceive you...ol' amber is all business.

I want to see these mounted SOOO bad. I'm also looking for some functional but sexy lightweight wheels for road racing.
