thats the added strength of mod blocks right there. cylinder space is another story. i think i could wrangle the 2v in. i just dont feel like cursing at it. il untangle the wiring first. im going to end up making my own harness.

a 4.6 is not bigger than a big block. my gfs dad's 440 block is bigger than my 4.6 (without the cam covers on) im pretty sure that is a 351 or a 302

the Modular V-8 and V-10 engine family is certainly different from our proven pushrod V-8 engines of yore. for one thing, it is huge, impossible to fit into a classic Mustang or Fairlane without significantly modifying the front end. However, it's a nice fit for the big Fords..Sit a 4.6 Mod motor next to a Boss 429, and you will find the 4.6 and 5.4 engines are larger

we were thinking about saying eff the 4.6 and swapping in a 440 so we were sizing up the blocks. and btw a 302/306 isnt big either

that's the 4 cylinder they put in bread trucks and stuff right? my diesel buddy was trying to get me to swap one into my mustang lol

the rear trunk space needs the only repairs. new sheet metal is in order. just waiting to finish mechanical work on the 96 to then move over to the 66.
