Anyone know if a stock block in a '95 mustang topped with patriot performance heads, tall valve covers, gt40 lower w/ 1" spacer and explorer upper will have clearance issues with throttle body or a cowl hood?

I'm not sure if I should get tall valve covers so I don't have to worry about rocker arm clearance, or standard height valve covers so I don't have to worry about intake/hood clearance. So I figured maybe I would get a rockin' cowl hood anyway and use a 1" intake spacer... Bah, I know whatever I get I'm gonna end up with something not fitting. Better get me a grinder while I'm at it... :dontknow:

patriot (lack of) performance heads?

use foxbody valve covers, and you probably wont need the 1" spacer

As above use the Fox covers, nearly all intakes with a 1" spacer will at the very least rub the insulation, at the worst the hood.

We talking stock fox body or aftermarket? And what about the oil fill neck? I can grind, but I'm not cutting and welding?

Stock Fox body.

Quite a lot of the intakes will clear the fox oil filler without mods.
