Hi i need caster camber plates asap as my cars lowered but does anyone know of any good three bolt caster camber plates. I'm going with the three bolt because i am not going to drill a hole in my body for the four hole caster camber plates. Also is there anyway i can use the maximum motosports four hole cc plate with just using the three hole, i know it will bolt on no problem its just that everybody says it wont stay aligned for very long using only three bolts on the maximum motorsports cc plates. Also anyone know of those J&M cc plates any good because it says it can be used as a three or four bolt. Thanks in asvance.

I honestly don't know, I run 4-bolt MM's. Drilling the hole really isn't a problem, I was scared to once I got to the point, but I didn't have any problems. Oh, and I have almost no mechanical experience at all. I know some 3 bolts don't hold adjustment well though, my car had some aftermarket 3 bolts on when I got it and they kept sliding out of adjustment. Just stuff to think about.

yeah you can't beat the MM 4-Bolts. Drilling actually was very simple. if you print out the template on MM's website, get a punch and mark where the hole is going to be using the template, drill a 1/8 pilot hole, then the 13/32 hole and you're good. just file all the shavings and deburr it.

Really simple install IMO and you can't beat MM quality.

alright i think i'm going to get the mm cc plates but i can use them as a three bolt cant i because there is no way im drilling any holes in anything that just gonna make the car's value go down.

realistically no you cannot. and drilling the strut tower is not going to reduce the value of the car.. just do it, you will not regret it. the MM plates cannot be used as 3 bolt. end of story.

and no, there is no clearance issues with a stock hood.

I think Griggs has a 3-bolt setup and they're right up there in quality from what I've heard.

also a good $50-$100 more than MM...

And it might be worth that to some people... I'd much rather spend that money on a drill and bits and just drill a hole.

Paying that much more because you're worried about drilling incorrectly is kind of weird but it's his decision I suppose.

I have the three bolt Steedas right now. I have no problems with them. If I were to change brands I'd probably go Griggs. Why? Not because I'm afraid of drilling some holes; more that if I spend 50 bucks extra I have a direct bolt on, rather than having to do anything to "prep" my car for the parts.

Drilling the 4th hole for my Steedas was really no big deal.. I can literally install these with my eyes closed now...

I don't mind drilling another hole for the 4th bolt, that way i know i have the extra clamping strength and the ability to go coilover later on and not have to worry about switching to another type of CC plate...

I don't think drilling that 4th hole in your strut tower will detract any value from your car... unless its a bubble wrap car with less than 500 miles on the clock and the factory plastic protection still on the mats and stuff... But then again if you had such a "time warp" car you probably wouldn't be on sn95forums in the first place.
