When my friend Nic told me he has been running one in his F-body trouble free for three years, I bought one. Oh, and it makes 810 rwhp so it appears it works fine.

However, I only bought it because I've always wanted one, and I got a brand new one from a buddy for $300 instead of the $500+ list price.

my roommate has one on his 04 Mach 1, and it's really beneficial for track cars because you can run the pump while you sit in the staging lanes. He has his setup on a 3 type switch (key on - off - on). I'm probably going to get one in the next couple weeks. They come with shitty allen key bolts that like to strip and be a PITA.

I can see that the electric pump would benefit at the track but how about on the street! I was thinking about buying one myself but I need more proof that the electric pump works well on the street before I spend all that money.

IMHO I dont think I would run one on a DD, .........to much to risk if it goes out and your not paying attention. For the weekend warrior car its fine, I ran one on my 91GT.

Would be perfect if you were sitting in traffic.

I wouldn't get one on a blower car that is pushing a decent amount of boost. I know a guy that completely destroyed a water pump because a bearing seized in the idler pulley and caused some kind of damage..
