Any power seat problems?

Just wanted to now if anyone had any driver side power seat problems? Mine went out a while back, it won't power forward just up and down. Good thing it stopped working when it was all the way back (i'm 6'2)

Also my cruise is inop also any ideas other than the fuse?? Thanks Corey

common problem with the rack. i used to have to push mine and hold the button to move it forward. it got stuck one day while i was trying to teach my girlfriend how to drive a stick. luckily i got it back all the way. i dont know any way other than gettin a new power rack($$$$) or just switching to manual(fox body ones will work)<--- plus you save some weight.

The up down adjustment only works part of the time but the forward and reverse works just fine. I also have my seat all the way back so if it gets stuck in a forward position I will be in serious trouble. I wish I could do something about my shifter, I have to stretch to reach 3rd and 5th with my seat in the back position. I was going to buy the rock crusher handle from UPR but it wont work with my mgw shifter.

No problems to report here, except for the fact that it does sit a little too close to the steering wheel.

when mine got stuck it was all the way up. had to drive like that for a week till i got lucky and forced it to go back

I would take your seat loose and make sure none of the cables are tangled, broke, or have come loose.

Yea, my brackets that bolt to the floor were broken off, and the motors didn't wanna push it because the rack is a little messed up, i still have it, if anyone wants it.. i just put in a manual one in my car.

Mine if you move it all the way forward it gets stuck, it actually blows a fuse in the high fuse panel under the hood, i actually had to unplug the relay under the seat to move it back without blowing the fuse but its startin to bug me because i want to clean my carpets but i cant cuz the seat gets stuck :wall:
