Anybody AutoX ?

just put new springs on the stang and it handles like a dream. i AutoX my lil turbo miata mx-5 and was wondering if any of you guys AutoX your stangs?

dude that looks like a blast. like i said earlier i used to do it in my mx-5 and it was fun. i just didnt know how well a stang would do. do you have and special mods for it? what would you revomend i do that would help?

it's amazing how much of a difference springs make. My buddy has trouble keeping up with me in the twisties in his rx-7 (full coil-overs) and all i've got is Eibach (i think) springs

I've done some unofficial autoX with a few local scca members. Just let me know my skills need honing and my car needs more suspension work!! It's a helluva lotta fun!!

Not a big fan, but I road race instead. I just think that you get a lot more seat time road racing, for not that much more money. Dollar/seat time is definitely more in favor of road racing. I know a few members on her do auto X. Ciotti does it, and Madtang (right screen name?) too I think

Move to Socal. From where I live, WSIR is 70 miles, Cal Speedway is 68 miles, and Buttonwillow is 120. Problems solved.

haha. i live in ks so their really arent any road courses. we have tons of airplane plants and runways. so autox is a huge deal out here. but if i ever had a chance to get on a road course i would!

no.lol i drove a red 93 with a black top and roll cage. turns out the roll cage works really really well

nope just doing some research for you. It's a NASA and SCCA sanctioned track. They even have track tours as well according the track website

I autocross, I have no idea where Andover, KS is, but check out mokanmotorsports.com. It's nothing but Kansas, Nebraska, etc autocross forums. Along with SCCA opentrack events at Heartland park.
