I've been looking for years for original floor mats for my 96 GT. I have three original floor mats, but my driver side floor mat is a cheap grey one and it pisses me off every I get in because I'm a perfectionist when it comes to my car. Im talking about the ones that have "Mustang" in red running vertical along the edge. I've looked everywhere and can't find them. Any ideas?

I picked up an oem Cobra set in really good condition from egay for about $50 shipped... But patience will be needed in trying to find a good set, otherwise I would try to contact MPS auto salvage! they are a specialty mustang salvage yard! if they can't help you no one can!

keep floor mat options coming! The ones in my car are falling apart, they already have a bald spot and they are a month old!

The ones from CJ Pony Parts look nice. I guess the only way to get OEM ones is to keep watching ebay or get them from a wrecked car though.

I have these which I think may be what you have but I am going to have to wait till next week for my guy in Product development to get back so he can contact the vendor for a picture.

To add to my previous reply! I was going to go with Lloyd's mat's if I did't find a nice OEM set! They are a nice quality piece and look like they will last as long if not longer than oem mat's

If your OEM mats had Mustang in red on them, I don't think they are OEM. My original mats did not have any lettering on them at all just color matched to carpet.

The only mats that came with any text on them (from what I remember) were the 93 cobra had red "Cobra" text for black interiors and silver for black interiors and ran parallel with the scuff plate. The 94-95 Cobra had the same text and placement but used black thread for saddle interior and silver thread for black interior. You can't go wrong with either Lloyds or ACC they are both great companies.
