Anyone have experience with edelbrock rpm 2 intake

I'm installing a edelbrock rpm 2 intake and was wandering if it will fit under the stock hood. I hoping that I don't need a after market hood at this time. Thanks for the help.

I have a ported upper and lower cobra intake which in my opinion is a great intake, but for my combination I think the rpm 2 intake will be better. I have dyno numbers of the cobra intake and after installing the rpm 2, I'll post the difference in the dyno numbers. Also I'm installing a fast air/fuel meter at the same time. I'll should be installing everything in about 2 weeks.

my personal opinion, edelbrock is the best, going from the cobra to a rpm 2 you'll see more hp but to might loose 1 or 2 ft lbs tq but the rpm 2 is better to have with future mods, bout 2/3 years ago i sold my trickflow to buy an edelbrock and i wouldnt change it to anything else, i had it with a 3/8" spacer and it fit under the stock hood just fine

My combination started with afr 185's, that's when I purchased the ported cobra intake. It didn't take long for the project to take a major step forward, now I have a stroker 342 with the afr 185's. I also have a 3/8th spacer but wasn't sure if it would fit under the stock hood. I'm trying to get my engine combo and suspension completed before I start on changing the body of the car. It's fun to have a stock looking convertible that will run in the low 12's/ high 11's. I'll post the dyno numbers soon.

I am going with the AFR 185's and the Performer RPMII on a 347. let me know how it fits because I have been holding off because of the hood clearance issue also. cant wait for those #'s :TY:
