I went ahead and ordered my tips last night from Summitt, because I was ordering my dad exhaust for his truck for his birthday.

Didn't get clamp on because the whole johnny has to be redone with new headers, midpipe, etc.

Found these, but couldn't really find reviews on them....what do you guys think.

I think for being 22" long they would be ideal.

Worst case I have to return them and get something shorter.

I have wasted many a dollar on exhaust and I have a shitty UPR midpipe and have learned that when it comes to exhaust, you get what you pay for. Which is why I am saving for SLP tips :)

I feel like as just tips they ought to be alright. The rest of the exhaust is either custom or real brands lol

Jones tips are top notch. I sell them everyday to just about every muffler shop in the southeast. That part # is a stainless rolled angle cut 3 1/2" by 22" long with a 2 1/4 inlet. You will like them just fine

i spent thousands on my long tube headers alone. then i spent even more modifying my FRAME to make them fit.... you dont "always" get what you pay for.

I just wanted to make sure there wasn't an error in the system. I have had to correct summitt on a few occasions ;p

Not a big deal. I hope I like them with the new bumper :D

I think those are going to look really good. What do you do about the hangers, do you have then welded on or just say F it?

I'm takin it to the mack daddy exhaust guy around here. He is going to custom make my midpipe for the long tubes and then I'll have him do these. Top quality work, so whatever happens, I'm not worried.

But probably going to tack a hanger on the side of each. After use of a tape measure, 22" looks perfect :)
