still bored at the hospital(day 11) so I killed some time today by making some saleen center caps. Not even sure why as I am not running any saleen stuff and would not want to slap them on just for fun but like I said I was bored. They are not perfect but they would not be all that expensive either.... These are decals printed on chrome vinyl that just go right on top of your current caps. They are clear coated and will last for some time, not sure how long but again, cheap........ I will get some pics up if anyone is interested and I do not get a letter from saleen. I have a number of other designes from 5.0 to 302, carbon fiber vinyl as well as other styles.

Do you have pics of the Saleen ones you made? I usually require pretty good stuff if i'm going to put it on my car so i'm not sure if i'll like them not being perfect.

I wouldn't mind some that say stroker if you could do a black background with red lettering. I ask for black because rims is black.

Yes I used the is in there on purpose :D

You need to get to feeling better buddy =/

do you want a straight font or something more cursive/hand written? It would not be hard, 5 mins to design. $10 shipped sound fair?

they are not perfectly perfect but I am willing to bet from 5 ft you would not tell.

Anyone else with just a random idea you have considered, hit me up. It gives me something to do and I am not holding anyone to having to buy their idea, mayb someone else will like it.

I will consult my buddy and see what he likes. How easily do you think they will peel off when they eventually start to rip. As far as not ruining the surface haha.

It will still be a while because I can't rock the stroker ones on the stock motor ;p

I might even think of something else.

I put some on my car last year and so far there has been no peeling or ink fading. The clear coat is a good quality uv-resistant that is made for vinyl and printer ink. As long as you clean it with alcahol there isn't an issue with them comming off till your ready and if you did want to pull them off it would only take a minute each.

at the bottom of that page shows a couple of different types I have tried. The last one is what is currently on there and is a two layer with chrome vinyl and carbon fiber with 5.0 cut out of it. I hava since made the period red the way it should be. I can copy pics of you kids on them if you want or if there is a different design/logo on it no problem either.

svt no problem already have that logo ready to go. The cobra is clear enough I can cut/paste it and cut a circle around it so it should work. Not sure exactly how clean it would print out with all the detail in the body but again from 5 ft it should be pretty good. I will try printing it when I get home and see how it comes out.

I have had some people buy the small red SVT logo that goes on the tack as well to make it look better. small detail that makes a big difference.

Wow funny you should bring this up. I want a set with the Bullitt crosshair just like they have on the faux gas cap.

after a long search I can't find a font to match. If you could get me a good quality pic of it directly above it I could do it though. Anyone on here with a bullitt that could help me/him/yourself out? I had to free-hand trace the logo out so some of the archs are not perfect, but once it is shrunk down to size that will hardly be noticable really. It would still be easier if I could get a hi-rez pic of either the cap, or even just the bulliTT logo.
