I am working on cleaning up an otherwise fairly clean sn95 Saleen Speedster Clone.. and one of the things I am missing is the Drivers Side Door Lock Rod. It seems that the actuator works, but the rod is missing. I checked a few of the mustang part websites I have become familiar with (CJ pony parts, American Muscle, and Late Model Resto) and only saw a passenger side rod at CJ's.
Anyone have to replace one? Apparently the previous owners were less than........ informed or mechanically capable when working on the car.. The amount of carelessness I have found is almost comical now. So I am thinking that they took off or put on the door panel improperly causing the retaining rod to break..
Any help is greatly appreciated!
