Hope you all hada better Mothers Day then I did.

So lets start with the bad news.

I just had my tranny rebuilt and got it back Saturday. F-in awesome. So I have yet to get on it really and I'm driving down RT 38 and I look out my review to see a trail of smoke! WTF I think to myself. I pull over and smell this smell I've never smelled before. I get out and pop the hood. I see nothing, I look under the car to see it pouring out trans fluid. There is a trail of it down to where I stopped. I walk around the back of the car and see it sprayed all over the back of the car as well. Obviously I'm pissed as hell so I drove it to a gas station where it died completely again. My dad is towing it back to the shop so he can get that shit fixed.

It looks like it was coming out of plug where you drain the trq converter. Some little plug seal thingy.

In other good news! I got my wheels put on. 99 Cobra wheels, I got for 200. It looks like a totally diffrent car. I just need to lower it now. I'll have pics whenever I get the car back.

sorry to hear the bad car news man.. but on the other hand at least it is a free fix (repair shop mistake)
instead of the trans failing without previous work done.. hope everything works out.

Dammit man.. :wall: :wall: :wall: today must be like the bermuda triangle for aode's. not to hijack the thread or anything but I just got a custom stall converter built for mine and had my trans guy doing the swap since he was cheap, well in the process of replacing the pump seal, he chipped a lil chunk out of the ring that the seal is pressed in to. :knuppel2: Tried it since it wasn't a huge chunk. Got everything back in and the damn thing leaked ever so slightly but it still leaked. :nonono: So pull it back out only to see that it's right where he broke that piece off. So I'm eff'n pissed, my car's still 2 foot off the ground and the trans is still sitting on the stand. Not a day for AOD E's that's for sure... I feel your pain... have a beer on me :hppyhr: :happydrunks:
