AODE to T5 swap Question?

Ok guys I haven't been on here in a while. I haven't had much time. I finally got my wifes 95 GT down and started working on it. I got the trans out the T5 in and the pedals in ETC. Wireing for the T5 swapped over. Ok my question is this. Can I use a 95 GT 5 speed computer in the car? I think I should be able to use the auto computer but I have the donor car I can pull the computer out of to use. I know on Foxbodyes you can but just wanted to know if I could on the 95 car?

I'm pretty sure you can, you just cat do it the other way round.

DO NOT USE AUTO ECU WHEN SWAPPING FROM AUTO to MAN in a SN95! use a ecu from a manual. The auto ECU retards the timing when the car is suppose to shift thus you'r car will not run right at all. The AOD in fox bodies isnt electronically controlled which is the reason you can swap from auto to man and not need to swap ecu's

Ok I will pull the computer and swap the 5 speed on in.

I may need to start another thread but why can't you swap the other way around? The reason I asked is my mom was thinking of pulling her 5 speed out and swapping the AODE I just pulled out into her car. She said she don't like shifting gears anymore. LOL
