wow thanks guys. Never thought I would win ROTM considering the car is far from the way I picture it as being done but I'm glad all of you thought enough of it to have me pull out a win over some very tough competition this month. Thanks to everyone who participated in voting and who voted for me.

I think for me it was how it is such a sweet car with the documented R drivetrain. That is just so cool. Congrats on the win!!

Any idea how many were done like that?

Seriously a WELL DESERVED win - I'm guessing the interior on your ride is as cherry as the outside - in case it is not, we manufacture the headliner, sunvisors, upholstery and front bucket foams for your year.
Feel free to shoot me a message with any questions you might have - and again, nicely done. Hope to see this car in person at an upcoming show!!

Just mine as far as I know. I'll tell you what I do know. Ford actually produced 255 Cobra R engines and 250 cars were sold. Engine #1 was never installed in any car it still pops up from time to time on Ebay. Its located in Windsor Canada the last I knew. My car was originally owned by a Roush Intern who go an over seas job and he could not take the car with him so he sold it to someone at Roush ( not sure if it was Craig Barker or not ) but they took this car and used it as the candidate for the R swap.

There were two prototype R Mustangs produced. Both were Red, one was wrecked and totaled during testing of the Cobra R and the other one has vanished. No one seems to know where it is but my guess being a Prototype 95 R that was actually red I'm sure its locked away in a climate controlled storage locker somewhere. I can post up an article that the previous owner wrote up about the two prototypes if you guys want to see it.

Since everyone likes the wheel up pic ( including me ) you can use that one for the banner picture :)

I don't think they should use that picture... They should use the next one you are going to have... Because the wheels will be up further.

More wheel up would be nice :)

as far as I know I do not know of any other 94 or 95 Cobra's that received a 95R engine ( especially one installed by Roush ) I cant confirm where the other 4 engines have ended up other then being in collections somewhere like engine #1.
