What was wrong with the Ram clutch to make it explode? Sorry to hear it! I have a Ram clutch too, but I have heard a few complaints of them prematurely going bad.

Too bad the replacement clutch took a dump. The FRPP King Cobra should be a decent piece. When you get a chance please post a pic of how you modified the V6 throttle cable to work with the 4V. I agree the 4V cables are rare and expensive when they pop up for sale.

I'm not sure why the clutch broke, I assume the combo of how I drive and possibly some kind of defect. I have a stock flywheel, just resurfaced.

For the throttle cable, I just hollowed out the stock bracket with a dremel until the v6 cable was able to slide into the bracket. One of the screws rests over top of the cable's mounting piece which keeps it from backing out through the top. It's been fine like this for about a year and a half.

update. keeping the car

had to get new rear tires on the stock rims and gave my wheel spacers to a buddy. so i went from 275's and 1" spacers to stock 245 and no spacer :/

i'll live till new wheels one day

added a new radiator and a Steeda/Borla catback. gonna recharge my A/C, find a new headlight panel, along with some other small things just to try and get some more motivation.

Glad youre keeping it. I know its had its problems, but it seems like you are fixing it up nicely! Your new catback sounds great too.

It's right at the mileage where stuff is going to break. once it gets past this little slew of issues, it should be good for a long time.

Keep in mind, this car is far from babied haha
