so, what made you lean towards auto x instead of drag racing?

road racing / autocross has always been my passion since i was a little kid. Drag racing never did it for me and never was my thing. Too much relies on the car to win versus autocross and road racing is much more heavily dependent on driving ability. you could have the fastest car in the world, but if you don't know how to drive it, you're going to see a $1,000 miata drive right by you haha.

is your steering tire supposed to be coming up that much? our is that just something you haven't had the opportunity to remedy yet?

that's normal and actually a good sign of chassis rigidity. my chassis brace from a-arm to a-arm is meant to maintain perfect geometry so it's going to force the inside tire to come up.

Most recent. Testing the new watts link / custom offset 3-link. I have so much grip it's nuts! I flossed through the first slalom at about 65-70mph. Still need to adjust the suspension a bit though, the rear is way too soft now that I have no UCA bind...

Did you guys head out to the Ford Ecoboost Challenge where you get to autocross Focus and Fiesta ST models? Was fun as crap. FWIW, great job on the latest run! Wish we all had the Watts setup in the rear as standard

From our watts/3-link test event. Spring rates were much too soft for the rear suspension (hence the body roll). I've since upgraded the spring rate and added better bumpstops.
