Not a clean run but you can see just how well the watts link is working in the transitions, 1:10-1:25 the car is an absolute rocket ship.

I will get some pictures up tomorrow. the suspension is all stock, this winter I'm going to be putting a strut tower brace, h&r lowering springs, front and rear sway bars, and sub frame connectors to help me stiffen up some of the body roll for when I autocross. My tires and 3.73 gears have been my biggest improvements so far since my first autocross. But I plan to do AutoX every chance I get this coming summer.

I wouldn't bother with swaybars. the stock one's are thick enough and there are far better areas to spend the money. STB is ok.. wouldn't be my first choice either but it can't hurt. The basic upgrades you should do that will be your biggest bang for buck in autocross are:

Subframe Connectors
Rear Lower Control Arms
Springs/Dampers

Those are the three key components to being successful in autocross other than the obvious: He who has the better tire, has the better times.

Also, watching your video. Hands at 9 and 3 at all times when autocrossing. except whilst shifting of course.

Thank you for the driving tips , I'm always looking for ways to improve my times. What is the reasoning to not put sway bars on?, shouldn't the sway bars help the body roll the most?

No sway bars do not control the body roll. the biggest thing that controls body roll is spring rate... the sway bars control oversteer/understeer.

Then what spring rate should I use for a car that's going to be driven on the street and in the AutoX?

This takes some trial and error. You need the correct dampers to match spring rate, that's most important. But to get there with being able to have a ton of adjustability, coilovers are the only way to go. As far as what spring rate is best, it's solely personal preference. Realistically, for best performance 500# fronts / 400# rears is what should be run if possible. BUT, I have to run much less because the lot at Qualcomm (you can even hear it in my videos) is rough, bumpy, filled with potholes, and very uneven. I run 375#/275# for this reason. It helps the car absorb some of the impacts of the rough course surface and keep the rear wheels planted. I sacrifice a little bit of the cars ability to transition quickly due to body roll, but, not enough to really bother me.

My opinion of a good street/auto-x damper/spring combo (so long as your autocross is on a nice surface) would be:

MM Sport Dampers: http://www.maximummotorsports.com/s...ct_info&cPath=514_23_375_387&products_id=1016

Coilover Conversion:

http://www.maximummotorsports.com/s...product_info&cPath=514_21_104&products_id=508

Front Spring rate 350-400#
Rear Spring Rate: 250-300#

**Note** whatever spring rate up front that you choose, there should always be a 100# gap in the rear. Example would be 350# front, so you'd want a 250# rear.

Most of the courses around here are pretty rough because their in old parking lots that don't get maintained very well, I will definitely be doing a coil over swap in the near future I was just trying not to spend that much money right now but thank you for the helpful information on the set up I will use it to my advantage when i do my coils overs.

First place in Street Modified today. Pouring Rain and BFG R1's and I still had a half second lead!
