Autometer Oil Pressure Gauge Question

I am interested in install a oil pressure gauge in my 98 GT. I wanna go electric. I wanted to know if there are any write ups on how it install it or has anyone done it?

It's just above the oil filter, easier to see with the filter off. The T I used was a standard NPT hardware store item, sorry not sure on the size. i want to say either 1/8 or 1/4 NPT though.

Ok cool. Now one more question. I wanna use a autometer pro comp ultra light series gauge. Should I get the full sweep or short sweep?

I would get the full sweep since mod motor's run alot of pressure, not like an old 351m with like 12 psi, lol.

Well i have a short sweep. I just installed it the other day! Actually you dont need a T. In the pictures below, u can see a plug that has an allen head on it. U just take that off and the put in the 1/4 inch fitting that reduces to 1/8 inch. Then you just run your wire up to your gauge pod. Its really easy. Ill include the link that i used to tap my wires for power and evertying a video and those pics!
