Alright well just got home from the track. Got to admit im a lil disappointed in the way things ended up. First off Im glad i went. Haven't been all season and i really missed it. I got in a few good runs. Im def rusty not being up there in so long. Ran the cobra and managed a best of 14.001 at 102.12 with a 60ft time of 2.08. I guess i did alright. Just couldn't get out of the 14's to save my life. :'( And on top of everything the drag radials i took down on my 15" Weld wheels didn't fit. Prolly should have mounted them and tested them before i went but I checked everywhere and everyone said they'd fit no problem. So i was stuck with my crappy street tires. Well here are my best 3 passes of the day.

r/t: .315
60: 2.085
1/8 9.035
mph: 77.59
1/4 14.001
mph 102.12

r/t: .322
60: 2.14
1/8 9.156
mph 78.52
1/4 14.108
mph 102.55

r/t: .018
60: 2.158
1/8 9.211
mph 77.46
1/4 14.165
mph 102.55

Oh and if anyone wants a pair of weld wheels with M/T ET streets with less than 15 passes they are for sale/trade. Looking for $350 or 17/ 10.5 DD Chrome cobra r's. There will be a formal F/s thread posted soon.

If you would have had the DR's on you would have made 13's. Most important thing is you drove the car home and had a good time.

not really sure what the elevation is. and yeh im kinda upset with how things went. a friend of mine in his 99 cobra had the same luck. neither of us could break 14's. would poor track prep be a cause of any of it? it was a private rental and the ppl who work there really don't put that much effort into it like other nights. what should my trap speed be closer too?

well man your 60ft time is hurting you by .2 or .3 tenths overall so you could be in the 13s but your trap appears to me to be about 4 or 5 mph too low. Have you been on a dyno? Is your car tuned?

those 60' times are actually pretty good for street tires and a not so well prepped track, IMO. the car should definitely trap atleast 105, or more if you have gears. did you spin in 1st and 2nd.

I spun a lil comeing off the line. other than that everything seemed to hook up fine going down the track. and my mph stayed consistent around 101.5-102.5mph. luckily i never missed a gear while i was down there. On one of the passes the clutch got stuck on the floor mat which scared the hell outta me. lol.

this could be a tune issue, you have some boltons that have altered your a/f ratio so im SURE you can gain some power and smooth out your curve by getting a tune. If I were you I would add some Longtubes and then go get tuned. The Lt's are worth at least 10rwhp if not more.

Yeh im thinking bout taking to get it dynoed at least to see how everything checks out.

as is, if you take it and get it dyno TUNED, you should be around 285rwhp or so, with the long tubes you could see the 300 8)

I would love to take it to get it dyno tuned but as of now i am very short on funds. :( I'd have to get a chip and get it tuned plus with the long tubes i just couldn't afford it right now.

with the longtubes and dyno tune he should, the 99 and 01's were in the 320rwhp range with the same boltons he has ( and I had ) so with the slightly less hp rating that the pre 99 4valves had 300rwhp should be a given for him.

My question tho man is what mods that i have would do anything to my a/f ratio? The only mods i have that do anything really is the JLT and i have never heard of any mustang other than the newer mustangs having to be retuned after an aftermarket intake. Do u think that since i got my motor rebuilt it might have thrown something off?

is the motor OEM stock or what? same compression, etc?
Yep. Just a completely rebuilt stock engine. It has a forged crank and everything was steam cleaned by the machine shop. Compression checked out fine.
