So this spring i have noticed my tires were wearing down on the inside which is understandable because the car is lowered with no CC plates.

I just spent $700+ to get the rear end rebuilt and cant afford new tires+ CC plates as of right now for a few more months. (going on vacation)

Here are some pics do you think it would be worth just fliping them for now? The driver side is the side of these pics and the passenger side has signs of inside wearing but still has legal tread on that all the way across the tire.

I drive it on some weekends and probably 3 days during the week 200+ miles i guess i would just do the flip for $35 so i can worry about it less.

but i need cc plates and new tires so that would be 500+200= 700 +80 for alignment.

If i flip them now i could get cc plates in a few mounths and then get tires even a little later.

Why don't you check Corral? They go pretty cheap. If you really don't want to get an alignment right away just do it by eye to make them less severe and then bring it to a shop to get it aligned down the road.

And in no way am I suggesting that doing it by eye is the best way to do it, but if you're getting serious wear like that when you eyeball it level it may save you some tire since you drive it so little. And just curious where do you live that flipping the tires costs $35. By me for my wheels if I have them flip the tires they charge $35 per tire (sucks near me).

When I put my CC plates on, they didn't even have to adjust my camber because I eye balled it into spec lol.

After you lowered it did you get the car aligned? It's more likely the inside of the tires are wearing from toe-out than from camber. I just took some Steeda camber plates off my car if you're interested.

Just a little heads up with the MM plates. I think they have a drill template. Just check it before you punch holes and drill to make sure the actual plates line up properly. I guess the template I used from their website wasn't as good at the time and I drilled one hole off. Long story short I stood with a file for like 30 mins trying to make it like .25 of an inch to fit the plate. So just line the actual plate up first to check.

we had to drill mine twice as well... lol. slow 'n steady on the install.... count your spacers, read the instructions, and defiantly look at the drilling template more than one time before goin' to town with the power drill. lol.

^Now I don't feel so dumb that someone else did it too. Lol.

I wrote MM a letter after I installed my stuff. And sent a picture too of how it was off. I wonder if they ever fixed the template for people.

You can buy CC plates all you want its still going to wear just as it is now. Once the wear pattern starts its just about impossible to correct it.Only thing you can do is get CC plates take it to a shop and have them cross the front tires and align it correctly.

TOE could also effect the Inside edge wear depending if its in or out...

I just used the MM camber plate template on mine and it came out perfect, the trick is to make sure you print it out in real size, just double check the measurements they give on the paper with a tape measure.
