Battery Drain Question

I had a drain and didn't have a volt meter so i just undid everything i did when i installed my mark Vii fan+fan controller.

I got a hold of a volt meter and after everything was finished i did a test.

With the alarm disarmed and door closed (no lights on) i get a .04 showing on the volt meter

With the door open (with dome light on from door open) i get .5


Is the 0.4 something i should be concerned about or is that normal? Should it show "0" ???

Your not going to have zero drain. The computer and radio will always be powered.
I think 0.4 is a little high.
Just for the sake of asking. how did you have the meter connected? Because when reading current (amps) draw the meter is connected differently than when reading voltage.
