BBK CAI Question

Is there a gasket that I need that goes between the MAF and the tube closest to the filter? On American Muscle the installation video show a gasket but that is on a V6.

I had one on my 98 and i dont think it came with a gasket but that could be different with 5.0 though but if you have already brought it im pretty everything that you need is in the box.

I think mine came with a gasket but I'm not sure if it came with the bbk kit or my pro-m mass air

Im using the mesh screen that was on my stock intake. it helps even the air flow out after that big bend

am I the only one with a BBK CAI Fenderwell that doesnt fit flush on my fender? there is like a 1" gap...maybe it was for a fox...

Matt i don't think any of them fit perfectly flush, mine's definitely not airtight i know that for sure.

Thanks everyone. I have another question, will I need to plug any of the inlets on the CAI or will all of them be used? I plan on installing this next weekend

you should have 2 holes, one for an air hose and one with threads, both are used.
