bbk throttle body (sticking)

i have a 75mm bbk throttle body on my 2v. It seems to me like it is sticking when you are at a dead stop. I was wondering if anyone else have had these issues. I'm thinking its the bearings.

Try some carburator cleaner both in and out. Also on my V6, the throttle cable had a fray right after it came out of its sleeve by the throttle body so it sometimes stuck partially open.

Sticking open or closed? What makes you think its sticking?

When im at a dead stop you have to give it a fair amount of gas to get any throttle response from it

I think it could be like a air lock, not sure of the technical name for it, but the suction could be holding it back, mine did this, I just adjusted the blade a little bit to we're it's slightly open, no more problem... U only have to adjust it a tiny bit

like super tiny, I adjusted my stock one a quarter turn, and my car idled at 1300 rpms, LOL

Yeah id start there first. Try adjusting the TB like they said ^^^ And see if that helps. Let us know

I would try cleaning first. Then try adjusting the thing 2nd.

i have the same problem with mine...it sticks shut.i even went and played with it under the hood testing it and yaaaa..i tried cleaning it,tried lubing it(yayayaya) and nothing helps..but it doesnt always do it

Wont that just raise his idle as it opens the throttleblade abit??? now taht you mention that that is waht corrected mine but i had to adjust my idle after the many mods and vaccum leak searching i had todo.
