thanks guys, the new shifter should look great when it's done. It has been welded back together but I've got to figure out what I'm going to do with the boot... gotta find a way to make it work.

I feel that I got a pretty good deal on a set of wheels and tires last night... more info to come on those. Will be a little while before I get them.

Looks really sweet man. I didn't realize UPR made shift knobs that looked exactly like the MGW ones for less money, wonder if the same quality is there.

Thanks fellas... onyx, my buddy had an mgw shifter knob, and it was a little different. Mine looks really nice, but I haven't actually done any shifting with it yet, it didn't fit my hurst short throw... which was more incentive to get a new handle and the shift boots.

Closed the deal on a new set of wheels... I really didn't need to spend the money on rims, but I'm in need of tires. Since tires are so dang expensive I thought about just buying a whole set of rims, I found what I thought was a pretty good deal.

He won't get them shipped out until this weekend at the earliest, so it will be a while before I get a hold of them.

i like the bbs much better plus they discontinued them so when you go to sell them you can charge as much as you want because theyre realy hard to find. ive always wanted them for my 98's

don't get me wrong, I freakin love BBS RK's. But, mine are all 8.5's and I just can't seem to find a reasonably priced set with the 10's.

These will need a little work, hopefully the fitment will be acceptable. The caps will be replaced, and I'm not sure about the tires. They will have brand new pirelli rosso's on the back and federals on the fronts. I'm already thinking that I would like to try out the Falken Azenis tires.

If I get them and don't like them, it shouldn't be a problem to re-sell.

i have falken azenis on the fronts on my car and regardless of 8.5" bbs get a wheel spacer to even it out

I've always run a 25mm hubcentric with them, and they look great. It's time for something new. I like to change things up every once in a while.

That's the plan, eventually. My buddy will have first dibs as he's been looking for a set for a while now... but if he doesn't want them I will eventually post them up. Thats assuming I like the new wheels.

Wheels got here today. going out now to mess with the car a little bit. Will def get a few pictures.

The shifter bezel is ready to go back in the car as well. The new boot turned out great too. I know I need pictures :violent1:
