Been gone for a while and the car's been down basically all summer. Classes+no job = lack of motivation for car things.
Anyways, my brakes were taking a dump so I knew the repair was coming.
oops
Decided while my car was going to be down anyways that I'd pick up some cobra calipers and upgrade the fronts while I redo the rears. At this point it was just a matter of if I was going to paint them, powdercoat them or leave them as is.
Welp the ones i picked up were painted yellow and having a teal car, that obviously wasn't going to flow. I had seen color matched calipers before and was always slightly hesitant on how good it would look with teal. My only inspiration was this picture I found floating around online.
Armed with that and a desire to step outside of the box, I hit up my buddy who does the powdercoating for TeamZ. Shane and Justin at Fabcoat Performance Coatings pushed a color on me due to their recent love for candy coats. Man I can't believe that I ever doubted them. I'll let the pictures do the talking. Enjoy!
