benefits of a H pipe

So what are the benefits of a H pipe and is it worth the 35 bucks im goin to pay for it?

for that price I would have to believe it is offroad, and then you will notice a gain both in sound and a littel performance while making your car illegal to drive on the road. If your state does inspections you will get caught unless it has cats on it.

You do realize that mustang gt's come OEM with a H pipe right? It's a restrictive catted H pipe but an H pipe nonetheless

if you live in cali, make sure it has catalytic converters or you will not be able to drive it unless you want to swap out he pipe evertime you have emmisions.

I do that in Ga.
swapping out the mid pipe isn't too bad. A few hours on your back and you done. Of course after the test you'll have to put the o/r pipe back on, so there's another few hours on your back.
I do it but maybe I'm a glutton for punishment.

AND as long as you never get pulled over by a cop that knows what an offroad exhuast is. If they find illegal modifications like this ANYTIME your car will be impounded and I thought in some areas of cali they were crushing them to make examples of what not to do. That was a while back but cali is a little crazy sometimes.

Hopefully, GA realized like IL did that smogging older cars is a waste of time. Illinois did away with smogging cars older than 1995 years ago. Now all the older mustang people can run o/r pipes without ever having to switch or worry about emission testing.

I would be SCARED to run an o/r pipe in Cali and Canada. Both of those places are crazy on emissions! In canada you have emission cops i heard that check out cars while driving to make sure everything is okay. One mustang guy on another forum got pulled over with his O/R H and slp lm1's and now has a Catted H and slp lm1s.

I live in San Diego and the only ones that get pulled over are the ricers with their fart cans. Although I did get pulled over not so long ago for not having break lights and some rookie girl cop was checking my car underneath. Luckily I had just gotten my catted X a few weeks before, but I drove with a o/r X for the previous 5 years.
