Thanks fellas

no 32valve here, gonna stay pushrod. much cheaper to build and break haha

Napa sells a new cobra unit for $121 and seems most mustang stores are around $130 or so. Can get a reman for about $90

partshighway is good to deal with too and has pretty much everything rock auto has, usually cheaper. i prefer calling and ordering over the phone though, online checkout can be a pain.

Anything wrong with buying a reman MC?

In my experience dealing with braking systems, it's that Reman parts (expecially master cylinders) are cheaper for a reason..
I don't know how many times I have installed a reman MC only to take it out within the next month or so because one of the seals failed.
I recently had to replace the Master Cylinder in my 94 GT (with a GT unit, not Cobra), and I chose to spend the extra coin to get a New unit,
and for $82, and with a new resovoir already mounted on it, it wasn't too bad of a deal.

I agree....There are some things I will fork out a bit extra for with a new unit. A MC is one of them.

I looked at the Rock auto page and Parts highway, PH is only $54 vs $74 from RA. Are both of these new?

My brother is doing the same cobra brake swap on his 94 GT. we ordered two MCs from partshighway. Just for kicks he's gonna leave the stock MC on his and I'll swap out mine just to see if the upgrade is worth it or not. I'll keep you guys updated
