B/c it sounds different.

5.0s are deeper cause of those extra cubes (or so i'd like to think)

umm no the best sound on a 5.0 is bassani and o/r x.
i have heard this setup in person and its very loud on a mod'ed car and it sounds so damn good. It sounds like sex.. better than sex actually.

My car is quiet as a cat nap unless i give it some gas so coming through a neighborhood its going to be quiet unless im cruising in 1st @ high rpms. I just dont see a near stock 96-98 GT being loud with or without cats unless your TRYING to be loud on purpose. Now if it was a modded 96-98 with a blower and cams and everything than yes t hat summmabitch is going to be LOUD at all times.

have you heard a o/r x + dumped LM1's in person? you can keep it under 2 grand and it is still loud as fack! lol

nope, i had a mac catted h and lm1s and it wasnt loud. I heard a trans am with slp and o/r pipe and it was loud as hell, but still quiet @ cruising speeds.
I actually never heard my setup from outside my car so i couldn't tell you.

In all seriousness most Camaros sound like crap. Idk if its the engine or the single exhaust or what but 95% of the ones around here sound so shitty. Guys put the SLP on their Camaro or Vette and think they are BA b/c its so loud but it sounds so horrible.

the the exact reason the sound shitty. if you even find one with a dual setup x like ours listen to it, it actually sounds great. BUT the ones with an o/r Y pipe sound like ass
