Equally the same, I know Jeremy, and cash money wise, it would be wiser for him to lay it down on a 3v 4.6 vs the new 5.0. The new 5.0 will demand a large market share EVENTUALLY however it will be a higher priced, more elite group of cars till they get out in the domestic car market for a couple years. By that time, the 4.6 3v parts will be alot cheaper and more abundant. Aftermarket support does not happen over night.

lol what he said.

trust me. i thought hard about it. Ford Credit financed it for 0%APR and it has SYNC, leather, 5-speed, and heated seats. So I'm pretty happy with it. I was getting tired of the 98 always bottoming out and riding rough.

I do agree that the 5.0 will be an awesome motor. But I think it will take a year or two(maybe more?) to have full aftermarket support like the OHV 5.0 or the SOHC/DOHC 4.6. so for now I'm gonna rock the good ole' 4.6 3v motor

Sold my 06 gt after 1 year, don't get me wrong they are nice cars but it just didn't have that muscle car feel, it had almost zero road noise compared to older stangs and it just drove and felt too much like a luxury car too me "boring". Nice pick up though and I hope you enjoy it!

lol that is one of the things that sold me on the car. everyone is looking for different things. the interior is another thing that sold me. very comfortable and attractive.

Well they definitely strayed away from the description of "go-kart with a big engine", that's for sure.

Very nice. Verry vveeerrryyyy nice.

I don't blame him for getting a 2010. Besides, can you imagine the markup on those 2011s when they come out? Its going to be ridiculous.

+1
besides the 5.0 is still unproven and has no aftermarket just yet. I know where i can get parts and info on the 4.6.

To answer 5.Woahhh its a GT.

that's pretty weird that it's probably goverened at 135ish? I mean eventually my GT can do that in a long enough run. I'm I the only one who is surprised by this?

Lol the day I sell a car because it rides to smooth is the day I quit driving. Period. I love driving my brother's car, but I see what he means, our cars have a more "raw" muscle car feel, and the fox bodies are even rawer than ours. I'm pretty sure the average consumer would take comfort over having a "muscle car" feeling while driving a brand new car :p.

How much are your monthly payments for that thing? I'd love to get into one of those or the new 5.0s within the next year or 2 but i dont want to pay like 600 a month lol.

Dyno'd at 280hp and 288ft-lbs. I'll post the pic later

EDIT: payments are 456 per month with the 6yr/100k warranty. Ford Motor Credit financed it for 0% APR for 72 months

Beautiful car dude, great color choice and I like those wheels on it. $450 a month though?! I hope that's not for 72 months, mingya.

ouch! $456 a month! wow that $32,832 sounds like you wont be modding that thing anytime soon, or you'll be working 2 jobs which will give you very little time to enjoy it! well im guessing you are in your 20's and live at home with the rents!!!

lol not quite. E-2 in the United States Air Force. I have only one job and a steady pay check. trust me... I can afford it. I'm gonna be living in bachelor barracks for the first few years of my enlistment and i'll be eating at the dining facilities. so... not a whole lot of expenses.

and yes i will be modding it soon. lol I'm just trying to decide which axle back i want to get. I'm leaning twords magnaflow magnapacks
