I'm hearing that there is some issues with black chrome, what is it about black chrome that makes it screw up easier than regular chrome?

that looks badass. it seems to have a slight brushed aluminum look to it, or is it just the picture? also curious to know is i hear black chrome doesnt show up in pictures as well as it looks in person which is what i have noticed cause in some pics it looks badass and others it looks just blah. some pictures ive seen of hypercoated look badass like yours and some just look like they are that silver painted color. do these just not show up good in pictures too or what

Hypercoated has a much smoother, more liquid look than brushed aluminum. Obviously most things look better in person than they do in pics, but if the angle and light is right hypercoated can look silver. You can see how they fade from dark to light, that first pic shows it well.Another shot:

My friend had the BBK RS Wheels in Black Chrome and they peeled. It was like a coating that just looked like it melted and peeled up.
