black smoke what dose it mean

i just had my MAF change and i notuced some black smoke comming from the exhaust. what dose this mean??

I think black smoke could be a sign of running rich?

yeah running rich, unless you used some sort of cleaner maybe its just passing thru the system. is your new MAF calibrated for your setup, or was it just a replacement?
