My tuner told me that from swapping my stock PI cams out for some Crower stage 2 non pi blower cams/springs I can expect a 30-40rwhp + tq gain. Do you think this is true? He says that the lift is too high on the PI's and not enough duration and that boost is just flowing right out of my exhaust.

I would say easily...ive seen far more impressive numbers than that.

Maybe they were PI heads but still.

One guy on corral went from 440 to 505 rwhp with some stg 2 blower cams....also dropped his boost from 14 to like 12 I believe

in a magazine i read where they changed cams out and got 45hp just from it.. It all depends on your set up and personaly you can get custom grind cams for you applcation... So ya i would say it would help you but i would do alot of research on what set up to go with. Just dont go out and buy any cam...

Ive done tons of research. I think the final decision Ive made is Crower Stage 2 non pi s/c grinds. I have read nothing but awesome reviews about them.

yes I am. and a stock rear as of right now. The only thing built to handle my power is the transmission.

nota problem. Well, with my current setup I'm barely touching 400rwhp/and a little over 400tq. I expect to be in the 430ishrwhp range with the blower cams

With Cushmans 2.5 blower cams I gained 50rwhp with stock heads and 10lbs of boost from 436 to 488 not changing anything except idle. Added 5 more lbs of boost and went to 558 and few other minor things. I' love Cushmans cams.

wow, now thats what i like to read. So you dont think its out reality to pick up a good 40rwhp with some blower cams and a tune?

That's 52rwhp at 10lbs. The only thing that was changed at that time was the springs and the cams and of course the tune. Since these are blower cams and are more efficient high higher boost levels, I would be willing to bet money that you'd still pick up 50rw. I spun it to 6200.
