Blown Fuse NIGHTMARE! HELP!!!!

It has to be the headlight switch. Every other fuse in the car is good, yet there is no power going to either side of the 10A fuse that was getting popped earlier, the fuse that controls the interior and marker lights. I mean thats GOTTA be what it is, I still have turn signals and hazards, just no running lights or interior lights.

Check your underhood fuses by the drivers side shock tower. It's amazing what they put in there. I remember picking up a brand new snowmobile trailer that I bought and I had brake lights, but no markers. All of the lights on my truck worked, but no running lights on the trailer. After rigging up a jumper wire from my truck's taillight harness to the trailer light connector the problem was fixed. Afew months later I saw in my owners manual that there is a single fuse under the hood that controls just the trailer harness....and it was blown. Give it a shot, it's worth a try. If you're not getting any power to the fuse block, then there's probably something under the hood in that fuse block that is fried....if not, begin to hate life because that headlight switch usually isn't the only thing to go.

Ok trust me on this Im not just another 17 yr old retard on here that doesnt kno what im looking at and have to have my e-hand held through every step. Ive told yall Ive checked EVERY MOTHERF*CKING fuse in the car. There is only one not getting power in any way shape or form and it is the 10 amp fuse that controls the interior and running lights. Just pulled the headlite switch and another will be here tomorrow to see if that fixes it, Im thinking it will.

Understood. I'd concentrate only that one fuse. The only things that doesn't make sense is that there is no power going to that 10A fuse that you've mentioned. The headlight switch is downstream from the fuse, but you aren't getting any power to either side of the fuse in the first place. That means that your problem is somewhere between the hot side of the fuse and the battery. I'd look into that problem first before you started replacing things that are on the fused side of the circuit. It's like you're trying to fix a dam in a dry river, with no water flowing to the upstream side. So....metaphorically... I wouldn't worry about fixing the hole in your boat that you have downstream until you find out why the river is dry. Pull the fuse block, it may have melted.

i've had fuses blow and unless you have a tester sometimes they can be hard to tell if their broken, but you probably have used one

If you have the headlight switch out do a continuity test on each terminal to see if it is working. Then you don't need to wait for the new one.

The next obvious thing to do is to trace back towards the battery on that circuit with a voltmeter and wiring diagram. You will find exactly what the problem is, no guessing.
