Ok Ive got a 98 gt vert some of you have seen and I had the stock 98gt wheels on and some kumho ecstas and the back tires were nearing the baldness stage, I needed tires badly. My friend has an aztec gold gt with chrome cobra r's and he had his stock wheels with almost brand new tires so for what I couldve bought a new set of tires for, I bought his wheels and tires cheaper. 97gt's with the gunmetal on the insides, and 245/45 all the way around kumho supra's. I kinda like them better than the 98wheels

Re: Bought some 97gt wheels

Ok Ive fixed it. Yes I have maximum motorsports 1.125" spacers. Cheap spacers for the lose. They cost me nearly $200 But Ive never ever had a problem with them. I cant drive an sn95 without spacers

did you put in spacers on the rears?
i have the same wheels but they dont stick out as far as yours do..

I was going to ask the same question. I put a cheap set on mine before I got my Saleens and ended up have to replace a stud and it almost messed up my other studs. There wasn't enough threads on the bolts.

Definately looks good with all the black trim and the top and you can't beat a deal where you save money in the deal. Nice job.

Hence why youre supposed to buy longer studs

NICE.. I always liked those wheels.. Now if my chrome ones weren't all messed up, I would have been looking for someone to widen 2 for the rear for me..
