Brake Light Bulbs Dead

On monday my neighbor pointed out that I had a brake light out on each side (left and right side closest to license plate). I switched out each bulb, turned it on and had my neighbor go on the brakes. Both lights that were out are still out.

Could it be a bad ground or fuse? If it's relevant, I reinstalled the interior trunk panels on sunday. Any pointers and help are both welcome!

Didn't notice any condensation. What would be the "normal" areas for corrosion? I know that sounds like a dumb question, just want to know what to look for.

I don't recall anything notable. I'll take a second look tomorrow and take a pic just for confirmation.

try unplugging the reverse switch on the trans then checking the lights. on the t45 its on the drivers side and is pretty easy to unplug.

I don't know dude. I've been flustered with the car lately so I don't really know where to look. A buddy of mine mentioned it could be the brake light switch. Is there a chance that could be the issue? From what I read it sounds like that would make all of the brake lights not function, instead of just two of them.

brake light switch is a cheap and easy fix. my first problem was that the reverse light switch was done for causing my brake lights and actually all the lights on the rear not to work. then about a year later it was only the brake lights that wouldn't work, park lights actually still worked and this time it was the brake switch.

If you can change with led lights. They are wonderful and will solve the problem

Switched out fuses with the one inside the fuse box cover as well as a new one, no luck. Going to have my mechanic take a look at it hopefully today.

Problem is fixed. Basically just starting pulling any fuses not related the air bags and anti theft to check for burnt ones. About half way through the lights came on when I took out the wiper motor fuse. Wtf?
