Hey guys, yesterday i was driving the car and all of the sudden my brake pedal started feeling mushy and soft like it had no pressure on it, it would still stop but not as good and it basically bottomed out until i could feel a bit of pressure and it would then start to engage. I got home safely and left the car until today i still felt a soft brake pedal, i opened the the cap were the fluid goes and the reservoir was empty, now i dont know were to begin cuz i put fluid on it and it does not leak or anything and it stops normally. Could this mean a bad master cylinder? Or one of the calipers has a bad seal . Need to know were to check for problems before i spend the money on a part that is not broken.

Since the reservoir ran dry you need to bleed all the brakes. (start at the farthest away from the MC and work to the closest) Was your brake light on? Look at all your brake calipers for leaks also ck your pads for wear.

Sounds like you have a big leak somewhere... I'd start by filling up the reservoir and tracing down all your lines for a leak.

Brake bolts loose on master pull it forward and see if fluid runs out, my guess is its the master...

Ok guys, i have pulled the master and it does not leak on the back so i think that its not my problem. Now about one and half week ago my Brake light turned on and me thinking it was just the little sender on the E brake that went bad i did not bother to check the fluid level. So today after filling up the reservoir full the little light turned off, yeah i know stupid me for not checking the fluid level. Anyways it seems that i indeed have a small leak somewere and i mean small because even after the brake light turned on my brakes still felt good until tomorrow. Im going to go bleed all the calipers and also check all the lines and the calipers themselfs for leaks. Man this could have ended much worst lol.

Yup glad you made it home safe.
The brake light serves 2 purposes, it tells you when you e-brake is set, and it tells you when your fluid is low.
While you bleeding them look for oil residue at each caliper. Don't forget to look on top of the rear axel at that line too.

Make sure to check the line that goes from your rear axle to chassis while you're at it.
