Ive got a set of 99 GT brakes sitting in my garage from when my buddy upgraded to Cobra brakes (sweet upgrade BTW). I was looking at them and noticed that they looked a bit beefier then the 94 GT brakes, is there any actuall difference in performance? I was thinking of swapping them out but if there the same then im not going to waste my time.

Yea there dual piston with PBR stamped on them. Are the 94 GT brakes single piston? What does PBR mean exactly?

PBR is the manufacturer. And yes, the 94's had single piston calipers. That's an upgrade I want to get done sometime soon. I hear you have to grind off an "ear" or something. I'll get back to you if I find a link to where I read about grinding them.

There both 11" right? Because the rotors from the old brake setup are warped so id have to reuse the same rotors.

I did the PBR dual piston caliper upgrade.

Made a big difference.

If I remember correctly, just Caliper brackets, Calipers, Pads, New Rotors, I also installed new lines to make the job complete...but that is not necessary.

I didn't have to grind anything.

Now that I think of it you may have to grind a little bit of material off one of the ears on the spindle for the caliper to clear.

topless95: yes, but you'll have to clearance the spindle a little.
