so whats the main difference between the early l's i have found some reasonably priced 99's and 00's is there a difference should i be concerned with miliage? just over 100k on one like 93k on the other

sorry guys was outside all day doing yard work :(

Ok Trav the 00 and 01 model made 360hp and 450tq the 02-04 model makes 380hp and 450tq the early years have 355 gears the later ones have 373's / there is just improvements over the early models with the newer ones. The 03-04 is the BEST ones too look at but if its out of your price range a 01-02 would be good too. One BIG prob for the PRE 03 ones is that the spark plug holes are shallow and dont allow for the plug to have a deep seat and thus being prone to PLUG BLOW OUT when boost is added :( Thats really what made me go with the newer one, plus small things like a bigger massair on the newer years/ Better drive shaft ( 4.5 aluminum VS 3.5 steel ) / better gears / more factory HP-TQ / ..............

thanks b ...funny you say that about the spark plug blow out... i remembered when reading that a friend of mine got a 00 new and he blew his plugs out!!! i thought that was crazy.... i will start looking more for newer ones
