i know bump steer kits are a good thing to get once you have a lowered car. but what i was wondering is would one help my car cause my car likes to fallow any ruts or grooves in the road. its not to bad of a problem until i want to take a trip down the freeway, thats when it can end up being white knuckle driving on crappy patches of road.

I don't think a bumpsteer kit is going to help with your car following the ruts, I'd say that's a tire or alignment issue.

onyx thats funny you say that, i've had the tires replaced a few months back and had an alignment done on the car aswell. i was thinking those 2 things would have solved the issue but its still there.

also a side note, my bbks equal length headers used to rub on the steering shaft but no longer do. they kinda broke each other in.

my steering feels fine until either of front tires hit a crown or rut. then my steering feels heavy then light as a feather as it steers into the crown or rut. its rather annoying, my car will pull left or right whenever it feels it in the road.

anyone have any insite on what to do to solve this?

you're not feeling bumpsteer. the symptoms your describing are just characteristics of low profile hard sidewall wide tires.

Bumpsteer happens when you go over bumps not when your driving down rutted roads.
Likely your tie rods, balljoints or wheel bearings are worn.
some wide tires just follow ruts worse that others

i would like to change to a 255/50 up front and a 305/45 out back maybe if it'll fit my 9 inch wide wheels. think that would help a bit?
