Well here in Northwest Iowa its kinda laid back, and people aren't too big on rules. You might call us hick. Well every year during the summer fest in my town we have a cruise and burnout. Here are some vids of last years burnout. The two with the red sn95 is my bro with his old ( now my) gt. The guy with the gray fox body is my town mechanic. He's a big mustang guy. You can see his drag times on his window. The other are just some guys out there for fun.
Now lets hope i can get these vids to work.

I wish more shows would include something like this.

And now we can see how cool the 94-95 brake cooling vents look.....

Yea I have some pics of my bro doing it and it looks pretty sweet with the smoke coming out of the vents.

Is the event sponsored by the local tire shop? :) Pretty cool stuff.

I remember way back when I was in high school I killed a set of tires in one burnout. Went from 2 day old tires to belts poking through in one burnout (hit 1st-3rd gear at full turbo boost with front tires still locked) took me a long time to clean all the dead rubber off the car and out of the wheelwells

I am not into wasting my rubber but if I had the opportunity to entertain a crowd in the middle of downtown I might have to go fer it!

Wow i just found out that they are stopping it. They thought what would happen if someone did lose control and have an accident and they looked at insurance and everything. So they aren't doing it anymore :BangHead:

I see danger when I look at those vids. On a stock car maybe not but get someone making 500-600 rwhp and all those people right in front could get hit by someone that looses control.
