I have been waiting for a steeda 19 cam but I cannot find one as they have been out of stock for a while. I am looking for a cam suggestion for my about to be modified pony. she is mostly a fun street machine, but she might make it to the tracks (drag and SCCA) a few times :) Here are the Mods....

Ported upper and lower 95 cobra intake
gt40 heads off of a 95 cobra that have had work done (light milling and polishing and smoothing out the rough spots)
24 lbs injectors
K&N
pulleys
exhaust
gears 3.73

1.7 cobra RR

cam TBD

the car will be tuned

anything will be greatly appreciated!

So far I like my #19 but. If i were to by another OTS cam I would go with Anderson Ford. TFS stage 1 is good choice.

Do you still have the stock springs on your heads? Your gonna want to replace the springs if you get a cam that has more than .500 lift.

Duration- 220/226
Lift- 480/480

Ford Racing "E" cam: $210

Sorry, I was just going with Cams with Similar numbers to compare too.
The XE276HR Cam sounds like it would be quite fun with
Duration- 276/282
Lift- 544/544
$300

But the initial post said he was looking into the Steeda #19, so i was just posting the more common similar choices.
Those lift numbers put it in a little more "aggressive" category, but i don't doubt that it will produce power and sound great too.

and you can got to like a .530 lift with stock springs

that would be pretty damn stupid. The stock springs are barely enough for the stock cam

I have had a 2031 in 2 cars with great results.

The cam pushes hard on the exhaust side which 302 heads need.

Problem is he has 1.7 rockers...in order for him to clear with that cam he is most likely going to need 1.6 rockers.
