Cam timing?

Hi guys,

I just picked this up. Is there any advantages to adjusting this? I have heard if you retard the cam timing, it gives a flatter torque curve. Any suggestions? I will be running p heads with a e303 cam, and 1.7 cobra roller rockers on a stock explorer bottom end. Thanks.

that is to be used if after degreeing your cam you need to advance or retard your cam timing to get it where it needs to be... 99% of cams are not what they say they are... you will almost always have to change the cam timing to get it correct....

So how would i calculate where this should be? Is there any way to get more top end power out of this?
