Cam ?

just pick up the pi heads and intake. So one cam shaft spun the gear off. could cams on the non pi heads work?

Yes! they work rather well and supply a nice power upgrade. People report 13-16rwhp gain. Im selling PI cams now but it looks like you have some.

dont know if u understand me. i have pi heads,pi intake,with the cams. but the cam on the driver side spun the gear off. so could i use non-pi cams on the pi heads,and pi intake?

They should work, npi has less lift than pi does

I believe so but you're going to lose power since the NPI's are less aggressive.

Not necessarily true, from what Ive been reading p.i. Heads don't flow very well above .450 lift and the lift on the npi cams is .461/.466 while the pi is .504/.566

Regardless Im curios of how the npi cams would perform in p.i. Heads. I don't know a whole lot about cams but from what I was reading it seemed like the npi cams would work better.

I personally dont know anyone who has tried npi cams ith pi heads. Call nick at MHS tell him duffy sent you, and he may have an answer or seen a car with this set up.

grn gt is rite i believe about being pressed on. ive heard that 99-00 where pressed on. but i will get pics soon. but dont know a whole bunch about what happened i got them from my cousin and he had bought the whole motor out of a junkyard and didnt need the heads

Windsor 2v's have press on gears. thats a known.
