Camaro Vs Mustang ... Vote!

My first love (car-wise, anyway) was my 1990 IROC-Z Camaro. That was hands-down the absolute BEST car I've owned, and I've had quite a few. I have always, and will always have a soft spot in my heart for Camaros, but I had to vote Mustang on this one. Simple fact, I think they look better.

Though, Chevy pushing back the release on the new Camaro from 2008 to 2010 (and now talking about not releasing it at all) kind of turned me off of it. I will admit when I first saw it in the Transformers movie, I fell in love... but also found myself loving the Decepticon cop-car "Barricade" (the Saleen Mustang) quite a bit more.

I also kind of think that Chevy dropped the ball in trying to "retro" out the Camaro. Seems they're just trying to copy the success that Ford had with the new Mustangs (and to a lesser degree, the Dodge Challenger). I still hold a little hope that it will actually go into production, but I also keep thinking they really need to make a sister car from Pontiac, and bring back the Trans Am too.

Basically, as a lifetime fan of F-Body cars, I have to say I would still spend my hard earned money on a new Mustang before I'd buy a new Camaro.

Mustang got my vote but I would love to have a LS1 car they run so good stock,I've always been a gm fan never really liked fords untill I got this mustang and I fell in love with the car it is a better ride than the camero it dosent rattle every time you hit a bump or shut the door it also looks alot better than the camero. Ford all the way for me now.

the 2010 GT was a disappointment in my eyes.

couldn't have said it better myself, it was hyped up so much and then it was like, thats it? I think it's cool how the V6 Camaro makes almost the same power as the Mustang GT. Good job Ford!

but our gt reportedly is just a tad slower then the ss...or what ever the v8 one is i don't remeber ...all i know is the camaro is a damn copy of the mustang ...practicallt the same roof line in 60's even the side vents .....i only like the mid 90's and up if thier an ss and firebird WS6

i llike the firebird ws6 more the camaros though wish they had one coming out

as far as 1979 and up mustangs are teh winner....from there and older i'd take a camaro in a heartbeat.
